LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Sometimes one block party just isn’t enough.

That’s the thinking behind this year’s University of Louisville Homecoming 2010 celebration which features a campus block party Sept. 25 and a second block party in the Highlands Oct. 3. Both events are free and open to the public.

“We tried something new with last year’s Homecoming in the Highlands block party” said Jimmy Ford, executive director, alumni relations. “It was well received by our alumni, fans and local businesses along Baxter Avenue. The festival atmosphere makes it great for families and we look forward to making this an annual event.”
