LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville Board of Trustees has approved a proposal to bundle tuition and fees into one “sticker price,” increase tuition beginning next fall and set parameters for future increases.

President John W. Shumaker told board members at their April 23 meeting that bundling tuition and fees is a significant step that will give students and families a clear and accurate assessment of their actual costs to attend the university.

“Students will now see one tuition cost that will reflect their entire financial commitment,” he said, adding that a single charge will avoid surprises, be easier to communicate and streamline the billing process.
