UofL dominates state business plan contest

    LOUISVILLE, Ky.–Students from the University of Louisville’s College of Business won three out of four divisions at Idea State U, a contest that challenges teams from Kentucky’s state universities to develop “real world” ideas for new businesses.

    Kentucky Chia, a team of four UofL master of business administration students preparing to start domestic production of an edible chia seed that helps prevent two fatal horse diseases, took first place in the graduate business plan division, claiming more than $35,000 in prize money.
