U OF L TO HOLD ANNUAL SERVICE TO HONOR MARTIN LUTHER KING

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville will hold its annual commemorative service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Friday, Jan. 12, on Belknap Campus.

    Dr. George W. Reid, president of Kentucky State University, will speak at the service, which will begin at noon in Room 100 of the Bingham Humanities Building. His topic will be “The Leadership Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.”

    The service also will include poetry readings and a performance by U of L’s Black Diamond Choir.

    U of L’s Office of Minority Affairs is sponsoring the program.
