Planetarium event celebrates 40th anniversary of moon walk

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Forty years ago, the world was captivated by images of the first man on the moon. To commemorate that event and recapture the magic, the Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium at the University of Louisville is planning a special 40th anniversary celebration July 20, 6:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m.

Free Moon Pies will be given to the first 100 attendees. Admission is $5 per person (under 2 free).
