LOUISVILLE, Ky. — From cancer diagnosis through treatment and life afterward, patients and their families can benefit from an advocate to help them along that journey. That guide can be a specially trained social worker, which is why the University of Louisville has selected Karen Kayser to be its first Dr. Renato LaRocca endowed chair in oncology social work.
