Boykin to speak on legal issues, presidential race

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Keith Boykin, host of the BET television show “My Two Cents” and a frequent political commentator on CNN, will give two talks at the University of Louisville on Oct. 6.

    Both appearances are free and open to the public.

    Besides his work on television, Boykin edits “The Daily Voice,” an online news and opinion website geared to African Americans . He also has written three books, “Beyond the Down Low: Sex, Lies and Denial in Black America,” “One More River to Cross: Black and Gay in America” and “Respecting the Soul: Daily Reflections for Black Lesbians and Gays.”

    Educated at Dartmouth College and Harvard University, Boykin has taught political science at American University in Washington. He was a special assistant to President Bill Clinton and later attended law school at the same time as Barack Obama.
