Autism workshops designed to help parents, educators and others

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Kentucky Autism Training Center at the University of Louisville is offering workshops for families and professionals to help them create a supportive, positive environment for those with autism.

One of the workshops, “Supporting Autism 24/7,” provides attendees with ideas and strategies for helping people with autism get through a normal day. Topics in the workshop include managing routines at home and tips for circumventing emotional distress in public places.
