Meet Erika Ganong
Hometown: Louisville, Ky.
Why did you choose UofL? My father is the strength and conditioning coach for men’s basketball, and I, fortunately, receive tuition remission.
What did your parents say when you told them you wanted to come here? They were obviously completely thrilled!
What do you plan to major in? I am currently undecided in the College of Business.
Is campus what you expected? I grew up on this campus so it wasn’t much of a surprise, but I am thrilled to be living on campus. I know it will be great!
What are you looking forward to at UofL? The independence and the chance to start fresh.
What’s your biggest fear coming into college? I’m not really sure. I would have to say failing. I have big dreams and I know I need the grades. If I don’t achieve them, I will extremely disappointed.
What’s the best advice you’ve received about going to college? TIME MANAGEMENT, apparently that’s a big deal!
