Data in the report, primarily taken from 1999 and 2008, showed UofL ranking first in
- percentage increase in the six-year graduation rate (29.7 percent)
- number of baccalaureate degrees awarded (732 more)
- actual and percentage increase in the number of doctoral degrees awarded (66 more, up 86.84 percent)
- actual and percentage increase in average ACT score (2.9 points more, up 13.5 percent)
The report also showed that UofL has had the smallest percentage increase in annual rate for full-time undergraduate resident tuition and fees than any other Kentucky public university.
The University of Louisville fully embraced the 1997 Postsecondary Education Reform Act, and the world is seeing the results, said President James Ramsey.
