• Dec. 10 – Skies Over Louisville, a tour of the heavens and a free sky map. If weather cooperates, the Louisville Astronomical Society will lead a stargazing program in the planetarium courtyard after the show. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for UofL affiliates, kids under 13 and senior citizens over age 65.
  • Dec. 17 – Planetarium Holiday Party, a show combo featuring Season of Light and Holiday Laser Music. Shows are at 7 p.m., 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Seasonal activities and treats for kids will be available. Tickets are $5 per person.
  • Dec. 19 – Cosmic Explorer Workshop, an exploration of the coldest places in the solar system and demonstrations to show what happens at 320 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. Program is for 4-to-6 year olds at 2 p.m.-4 p.m. Cost is $20 for members and $25 for nonmembers. Registration is required by Dec. 17 calling 502-852-6664.
  • Dec. 20, 21 and 22 – Double Feature Days, an opportunity to see Season of Light and Holiday Laser Music Show at a discount. Double features will be shown at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. Cost is $5 per person.
