Crews are putting fencing around the museum construction site, which will close the Third Street sidewalk from just south of the museum to the Second Street bus stop across from Freedom Park. Pedestrians who walk north on that sidewalk to The Ville Grille, residence halls or businesses on the northwest side of campus should cross Third Street at the crosswalk near the Brandeis School of Law.
The Shipp Street sidewalk between the museum’s parking garage and the main building also will be closed. Pedestrians who usually use that sidewalk should instead use the walkway through the College of Business Portal.
The driveway from Third Street to the museum’s parking garage will be closed from Dec. 17 to Jan. 3 for utility work. Drivers will need to enter the garage via the Brandeis Street entrance on the back side of the garage.
