The BFA Thesis Exhibition opens with a reception Nov. 29, 5:30 p.m.–7:30 p.m. Remarks will be at 6 p.m.
Arin Ashley, Benjamin Cook, Julia Davis, Lana Wilson, Rachel Hagan, Sarah Hance, Jordan Lance Morgan, Charlotte Pollock, Patrick Rademaker, Philip Rodriguez, Jeff Ruemeli and Lana Wilson are featured artists.
Each will display a concentrated body of work he or she developed to demonstrate readiness to enter the professional art world upon graduation.
For instance, Ruemeli’s work is an exploration of natural phenomenon. Using natural materials such as wood and glass, his exhibition work focuses on the Schuman Resonance, the vibrational pulse of the Earth. More specifically his mixed media work deals with the human response and awareness of that phenomenon.
Jordan Lance Morgan focuses on historical figurative painting. One of the pieces he will display is a portrait of Ben Franklin.
Schneider Hall galleries are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
