DID YOU KNOW?
It is Transfer Student Appreciation Week. Since Fall 2013, UofL and JCTC have awarded 403 individual students 569 credentials (associates degrees and certificates) through our Reverse Degree program. Students completing at least 15 hours at JCTC and 70 hours between JCTC and UofL are eligible to have their official transcript sent back to the community college for a degree check.

The Department of Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology invites you to attend the annual “Convocation of Thanks” ceremony March 24 at 6 p.m. in Kornhauser Auditorium on the HSC campus. This event is organized by health science and graduate students from the Schools of Medicine and Dentistry to honor the donors to the Willed Body program and their families through musical performances, personal reflections and a candle-lighting ceremony.

Individuals or group of faculty are encouraged to apply. Work must demonstrate evidence of community-university engagement partnership with the larger community and how scholarship addressing community needs was a part of the partnership. Regional winners receive a cash award of $5,000 and national winners receive a sculpture and $20,000.
