DID YOU KNOW Several UofL scholars have been awarded prominent scholarships that enable them to travel abroad to conduct research, teach or earn an advanced degree. The scholars will gain unique learning experiences that range from helping health care workers in Uganda to examining subtypes of breast cancer in Norway.
FACULTY AND STAFF NOTABLES UofL employees Niki King Jones, Shavon Wagner and Dillon Miles graduated last week from the Fund for the Arts NeXt program, a nationally recognized, 10-month program dedicated to preparing emerging professionals for leadership roles within the arts community.

Studies Paid healthy participants needed for studyUofL Caregiver Stress Study is looking for healthy European-American/White women, ages 18 to 35, who have NOT provided care for an ill friend or family member in the last year to fill out a questionnaire and provide saliva samples for up to 2 different time points. Each visit takes approximately 1 hour or less. We are offering $20 compensation for each visit. Appointments are held at the end of the work day on the Belknap Campus at 4 p.m. IRB#13.0135
