    DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know … Michael Johmann, assistant professor of humanities, hopes to become one of the elite few who have made a solo swim across the English Channel. He had planned to begin the 21-mile swim on July 1, but said he could start as late as July 10 if weather conditions weren’t right. Since 1874, 1,426 swimmers have accomplished the feat—more than twice as many people have climbed Mt. Everest. We await word on his progress.
