4.) A note about end of calendar year gift processing from Advancement Services

The end of December is a popular time for individuals to send in their annual gifts/donations to support the university. We understand that many individuals take time off during December and January so we ask if your department receives gifts from donors, please be sure to forward them to Advancement Services as soon as possible. Additionally, it is extremely important that the envelope with the post mark date on it be forwarded to us along with the check and any additional back-up notes and/or letters to ensure accurate tax year receipting is provided to the donor. As a reminder, checks should not be placed in campus mail to our office. They should be hand-delivered to our office in Cardinal Station or to the development office on Belknap or HSC campus.
