Campus-Submitted Announcements
UofL Health Plan
1.) Watch for scams regarding Anthem cyber attack
UofL is working closely with Anthem, Inc., the parent company of our health insurance provider, which was the victim of a highly sophisticated cyber-attack.
Anthem has discovered some scam emails/phone calls are being made related to the cyber-attack. PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND TO OR CLICK ON ANY LINKS INCLUDED IN THESE EMAILS. Anthem has created a website – www.anthemfacts.com – and a hotline, 1-877-263-7995, for its members to call for more information, and shared these Frequently Asked Questions to further explain the cyber-attack. Members who have been affected will receive communication from Anthem via surface mail (not email). Instructions for those members who are impacted to sign up for credit monitoring/identity protection services will also be provided via mail (not email). As additional information becomes available, we will it share with you.
Additional Information: If you have any questions, please call the Anthem hotline, 1-877-263-7995, or HR at 502-852-7965.
