6.) A note about end of calendar year gift processing from Advancement Services
The end of December is a popular time for individuals to send in their annual gifts/donations to support the university. We understand that many individuals take time off during December and January so we ask if your department receives gifts from donors, please be sure to forward them to Advancement Services as soon as possible. Additionally, it is extremely important that the envelope with the post mark date on it be forwarded to us along with the check and any additional back-up notes and/or letters to ensure accurate tax year receipting is provided to the donor. As a reminder, checks should not be placed in campus mail to our office. They should be hand-delivered to our office in Cardinal Station or to the development office on Belknap or HSC campus.
Additional Information: Judy Singleton, 502-852-7021.
7.) Stack testing to take place Tuesday
Dec. 23, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., SAC and School of Music
Please be advised that the Steam and Chill Plant will be conducting stack testing today. As a result, there will be an excessive amount of steam and noise from the Student Activities Center building and sidewalks around the School of Music. This is expected and should not be a cause for concern.
Additional Information: Steam Plant Foreman Dave Veltman, 502-608-9999.
Grand Rounds
8.) Cardiovascular Medicine
Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, noon
There will be no Grand Rounds on December 24 or 31. Next CMGR will be Jan. 7, featuring Dr. Andrew Lenneman at the Rudd Heart and Lung Center – top floor, Great Halls I & II.
