    DID YOU KNOW?

An idea to send less-fortunate children in Charlotte, North Carolina, to the Belk Bowl has been wildly successful. Mike Rutherford, publisher of the Card Chronicle blog, wanted to raise $2,000 to pay for 25 children and 25 chaperones from the Greater Charlotte YMCA to go to the game Dec. 30 between UofL and Georgia. He’s raised more than three times that amount, and there’s more than a week to go. Read more here.
