UofL’s Family Business Center has new leadership

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. – A new leader is at the helm of the University of Louisville College of Business Family Business Center.

    Isabel C. Botero, an internationally recognized expert in family business, started in her new role as director this month.

    She received both undergraduate and advanced degrees from the University of Antioquia in Colombia, and a PhD from Michigan State University. She also has an Advanced Certificate in Family Wealth Advising from the Family Firm Institute. She most recently served as assistant professor of family enterprise and entrepreneurship at Stetson University in Florida.

    “I am confident that Dr. Botero brings energy, passion and vision to the Family Business Center that will serve to move us forward quickly,” said COB Dean Todd Mooradian.

    The Family Business Center provides educational opportunities to its close to 100 members. Its first event of 2020, the Family Business Summit, takes place Jan. 22.
