UofL planetarium to celebrate Astronomy Day

    LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The Gheens Science Hall and Rauch Planetarium at the University of Louisville will mark May 18 — Astronomy Day — with programs that explore the mystery of space.

    The family-friendly event runs 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is $5.

    Events include viewing the sun through solar telescopes, activities for kids and a drawing for a Celestron telescope valued at $150. Three shows will be offered in the planetarium dome as follows:
