The CEHD’s Department of Middle and Secondary Education was selected to receive the 2016 Paul Weber Award.

MISE was chosen as the award recipient because of its work throughout the past five years developing a clinical model of teacher preparation, its collaboration with UofL and school colleagues to improve K-16 student learning, and its formation of partnerships that focus on equity and social justice.

The group was presented the award at the annual UofL Celebration of Teaching and Learning this month.

The award was created in 2005 in memory of Dr. Paul Weber, a distinguished teacher, scholar at mentor at UofL, and recognizes departmental excellence in teaching.
