Students and faculty from communication, dentistry and justice administration will set up in teams and perform an array of service projects while there.

The dental team will set up a dental clinic in the Peril, and all ISLP students will perform a rotation in the clinic. The communications team will use the STAR critical thinking exercise to help students make good choices. Justice administration will use role play and small group discussions to talk to students about bullying behavior. The education team will do a science experiment focusing on water purification.

The participants will leave the Philippines Dec. 20. This is the first time the program has been to that country. Past programs have been held in Belize.

The students will blog about their experiences.
