Holiday World will hold its first “UofL Day” Saturday, June 30. The amusement park is offering a discount ticket of $39 to UofL patrons. It includes admission to both Holiday World and the waterpark Splashin’ Safari; an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet that includes Moonlite BBQ pulled pork, all-beef hotdogs, broasted chicken, several sides and desserts; free parking; free soft drinks; inner tube use; and sunscreen throughout the day.
The park is about an hours’ drive from Louisville. Among its dozens of rides are the world’s top-ranked wooden roller coaster, the world’s longest water coaster, and a waterpark ride voted world’s best.
On Friday, July 27, The Louisville Bats will host “UofL Night at the Bats.” Tickets will be discounted to $6 per person and will include seating in the UofL section, free carousel rides for kids, T-shirt tosses and other giveaways. Against the Grain, the brew pub and restaurant at the stadium, is offering a 10 percent discount with a UofL ticket.
