The building is undergoing its first major update in the 40 years since it moved from Brook and Broadway to Preston Street.

Last October, officials broke ground on a project that will add more than 20,000 square feet and renovate another 200,000 square feet. The plan provides for updating clinic equipment and facilities as well as classroom technology, and the project will incorporate green HVAC and lighting systems.

Work is under way, and the school plans to keep everyone updated on the progress by posting photos from the site on its flickr page.

The project is expected to take two years.
