Major roads to campus that will be closed include Second, Third and Fourth streets; Central Avenue between Third and Floyd streets; Southern Parkway; and Eastern Parkway between Crittenden Drive and Third.
Students taking final exams and anyone coming to campus that day should arrive from the east via Eastern Parkway or I-65 to Cardinal Boulevard, Warnock Street or Central Avenue.
The Floyd Street Garage and the Brook Street, Floyd Street, Speed School, College of Business and Red Barn parking lots will be open.
The Kentucky Derby Festival also will provide two Miller Transportation buses to shuttle students from Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium up Floyd Street to the Thrust Theater and Student Activities Center stops.
