The 20-month UK-UofL Exec MBA program is designed for C-suite executives and other business professionals, and is the first comprehensive executive MBA in the region. It is also the only program in the area to have been awarded a Tier One Global Executive MBA ranking by CEO Magazine, which currently ranks the UK-UofL Exec MBA 28th in the world.

Dr. Baron Kelly recently delivered the Keti Koti keynote address on Slavery, Resistance, and Globalized Multicultural Theatre at the National Institute for the Study of Dutch Slavery and Its Legacy in Amsterdam. In addition, he taught on the faculty of the University of Amsterdam’s Black Europe Summer School.

This week: The LGBT Center was one of the first at a southern school. Director Brian Buford talks about the center and its 10th anniversary. Daniel DeCaro is an assistant professor who’s doing research on why people cooperate and why they don’t. Jessica Eaton is a Fulbright Scholar and UofL Medical School student who studied in Malawi, one of the poorest countries on Earth.

The School of Public Health and Information Sciences is accepting applications to the Master of Science in Clinical Investigation Sciences (31 credits) and the Certificate in Clinical Investigation Sciences (15 credits) through August 1 for the 2017-18 academic year. These are ideal programs for medical fellows and residents interested in clinical investigation.

Carnosine for Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD) Study
The UofL Health Sciences Center is seeking PAD patients between age 50-80 with and without claudication to determine whether Carnosine/Placebo supplementation for 6 months improves walking ability.
